A Place for Creatives to Bloom

Sunflower Club is a school and community for writers, artists, entrepreneurs, and creative misfits and mystics. We believe that everyone is an artist and creativity is human nature.

Weekly virtual gatherings, open mics and workshops hosted by James McCrae.

Where Creativity Meets Community

Our mission is to provide creatives from all walks of life with an incubator for development and platform for expression.

Join the club if you’re ready to:

  • Deepen your creative practice and access ongoing insights and inspiration

  • Connect with an inclusive and conscious community of global creators

  • Embody your higher creative purpose

  • Launch your project, publish your book, or grow an audience on social media

We believe that creative expression is a modality for healing and transformation. When a thought or emotion is suppressed, it can fester beneath the surface and manifest as sickness or pain. Writing and making art are somatic exercises to release stuck energy.

It’s not about being good at creativity. It’s about creativity being good for you.

It’s Not a Talent Show

Creativity is a Form of Therapy

There are many science-backed benefits to creative expression, including:

1. Stress Release & Emotional Regulation

Expression is the antidote for suppression – a cathartic purge of energy, emotion, and the subconscious mind.

2. Psychological Resilience

Being an artist is an act of personal sovereignty, taking us from survival mode to creation mode.

3. Inner Child Activation

Having a creative practice restores a passion for life, training us to see through eyes of curiosity, wonder and play.

4. Mindfulness
& Intuition

Creativity is a journey within, cultivating inner presence and teaching us to trust ourselves and navigate the unknown.

What People Are Saying

Bunny Michael

Bob Peck

Is Sunflower Club for Me?

This is an inclusive community for creative misfits and mystics of all backgrounds and levels of experience.

James McCrae’s expertise is in writing, poetry, design, branding, and social media, but the workshops, discussions, and sharing circles will apply to other mediums as well, including being a creative entrepreneur.

We will also feature guest speakers from various industries, such as authors, musicians, and more.

You could say this is a “conscious” or “mindful” container. We don’t subscribe to any particular religion, but believe that creativity can be a spiritual practice. We are each vessels for source creation.

If you want to deepen your creative practice and connect with a global community of conscious writers and artists, this membership is for you.
